Work on our Community Tree Nursery at Feel Good Gardens continues apace.

Our polytunnel is in place, and last autumn volunteers helped us sow several thousand acorns, collected from Sherwood Forest.

This month we’ve been getting new steps and wooden ramps installed, so that our volunteers can safely move around the sloping site. Raised beds are also being constructed, so that those who can’t work at ground level can sow and tend saplings without needing to bend.

We want to make sure that people of all abilities can take part, helping us to grow new trees and give Sherwood Forest a greener future.
