What’s On in Sherwood Forest?

Sherwood Forest is famous not just for its natural beauty but also its lively events – from exhibitions, festivals and concerts to fetes, community celebrations and customs.

Its best known annual event is the hugely popular Robin Hood Festival at Sherwood Forest Country Park.  It’s a firm family favourite, taking place in the holiday month of August.  But there’s lots going on here all year, from the summer Major Oak Woodland Festival to sparkling winter illuminations.

Sherwood Forest Trust staff are often there to support, so look out for our heritage tent.  We’d love to meet you, so why not pop in and ask us a question about Sherwood Forest 🙂
