Monday 27th August – Sunday 2nd September 2018 – The Robin Hood Festival

Sherwood Forest Country Park, NG21 9HN.  Admission free. Parking £5.  Tel. 01623 823202.  http://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/planning-and-environment/country-parks/sherwood-forest/robin-hood-festival

Family friendly fun as Sherwood celebrates its most famous son.  Wander the very woods Robin Hood and his Merry Men once haunted.  Meet strolling musicians, storytellers, craftspeople, entertainers – and doubtless a few Outlaws.

This year the Festival has a new hub, as we say goodbye to the old Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.   The brand new iconic building  of the new Visitor Centre will look out to the Forest edge from a little closer to historic Edwinstowe village.

Times change, but the magic of the legendary outlaw never dims!
