Ask The Major

Do you love Sherwood Forest? Ever wished you could find out what the trees know? Well here’s your opportunity to quiz the world famous Major Oak at Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve.

As part of the Major Oak Woodland Festival on 13th and 14th September 2014, you will get the chance to pose a question to an oak tree that has been growing since Vikings walked the forest, it’s lived through change, seen many faces come and go, and is one of the most majestic trees in the world.

No matter where you live on the planet you’ll be able to ‘Ask The Major‘ your question. Leave a question below and you may be one of the lucky ones chosen at random that will be read out by The Green Man, live in front of the Major Oak. We hope that The Major Oak will be in a good mood, he is around 1000 years old after all!

We’ll post the questions and answers after the event.

So what question would you ask him?
